INVENT A DEFINITION
As far as I know, these words don't exist in standard English, though they often resemble words that do exist. There are no right answers. I just want to see what happens. The idea is to make up anything that seems to you to fit the word. Pick only those words that 'say' something to you, and then invent a definition for them. Try to be fairly specific, and don't forget to give us a few verbs and adjectives. Often people tend to define everything as nouns. If you fill it out in some language other than English, great!
I've always chosen words which differ from each other a lot. This time let's try words which are similar:
lape
leet
lipe
lote
lood
linge
lat
lod
lud
AND THIS TIME WE AGAIN HAVE A PEOPLE THEME (I use people of the same race to try to minimize cultural influence on name choice) GIVE THEM A NAME:
INVENT A SINGLE ONE_SYLLABLE WORD WHICH DESCRIBES
Make up a one-syllable word meaning: a heavy snowfull Make up a one-syllable word meaning: a thick layer of ice on the windshield Make up a one-syllable word meaning: a thin layer of ice on the windshield Make up a one-syllable word meaning: extreme humidity in a jungle in midday Make up a one-syllable word meaning: a windstorm in the desert Make up a one-syllable word meaning: heavy rain on the roof Make up a one-syllable word meaning: the smell of rain Make up a one-syllable word meaning: the time in autumn when the leaves are all different colors Make up a one-syllable word meaning: sunlight in the late afternoon
